Dr. Laura Kassner demonstrates both breadth and depth of experience teaching, leading, and researching best practices in early childhood education, K-12, higher education, professional development, and adult learning. She has exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong record of building organizational capacity. Laura is adept at leveraging GoogleApps to facilitate and enhance administrative efficiencies, host hybrid and online courses, and create opportunities for collaboration.
Presently, Laura provides a wide range of consultative services to organizations and individuals, with the goal of enhancing educational leadership at the nexus of research and practice. Recent clients include public school systems, departments in higher education, research consortia, non-profits, doctoral students, superintendents and principals. In addition to consulting, she actively conducts research in partnership with Virginia Tech, the University of Richmond, and Research Analytic Insights, LLC.
Strong interests in educational leadership and policy studies include: improving equity and access for underserved populations, National Board Certification and related support and incentive structures; utilizing technology to enhance pedagogy and build organizational capacity; blended learning practices in K-16.
